KIDSTAGE Junior Instructors

A "running start" approach to a Teaching Internship, the program provides training and development in class management, leadership, peer to peer mentoring, and customer service skills. Students greet families, provide additional energy and supervision in the classroom, and learn valuable life and teaching skills. Must be at least 14 years of age to apply.

Tuition: $250* (Positions as available)

KIDSTAGE Arts Teaching Internships

Village Theatre KIDSTAGE seeks college level and above interns for the Village Theatre KIDSTAGE Instructor Internship program. The internship program supports the development of outstanding KIDSTAGE Instructors and Theatre Arts Educators by providing a structured program of training, coursework, and extensive progressive in-class and hands-on learning experiences. Interns will learn to translate the KIDSTAGE philosophy of "skills for theatre skills for life" into classroom technique. The internship program is available in Issaquah and Everett Washington.

Internships are designed for 20–40 hours per week, and a minimum of 15 hours per week will be spent in the classroom assisting an experienced theatre arts educator.

Tuition:None. Successful applicants for Teaching Internships receive stipends to offset the expenses of participation.
