Youth Education Luncheon

Village Theatre will have its 9th Annual Youth Education Luncheon October 20, 2009 at the Francis J. Gaudette Theatre in Issaquah from Noon to 1:00 PM. The program features emcee, Dave Ross of "The Dave Ross Show" on NewsTalk 97.3 KIRO as Master of Ceremonies.

Goals of the Luncheon:

  • Raise $100,000 to support our increasingly popular Youth Education Programs. These unrestricted funds are essential to maintaining our high-quality Pied Piper Season and innovative KIDSTAGE program.
  • Highlight the contributions of our corporate sponsors and celebrate the important role of corporate philanthropy in our community.
  • Give a peek into what is special about our Youth Education programs. At the event, kids/teens will demonstrate how their lives have been touched by participating in KIDSTAGE or attending a Pied Piper production.

Sponsorship Opportunities

  • Sponsoring the Youth Education Luncheon is a great business move that combines strategic marketing with the ability to give opportunities to local children. It is a great way to increase visibility for your organization and it sends a clear message to your employees, clients, and potential clients that your organization is an active participant in bringing the arts to young people. Your sponsorship is leveraged by covering the cost of the event so that every individual donation made by luncheon attendees goes directly to our programs.

If you are interested in Sponsoring this event or joining our Youth Education committee, please or call her at or 425-392-1942 x 151.

Annual Auction and Gala

A special thank you goes out to all those who made the Village Theatre Auction and Gala a success!

Village Theatre Auction and Gala

Goals of the Auction

  • Raise $250,000 to support our growing Mainstage, Village Originals, and Youth Education programs. These unrestricted funds are essential to maintaining the quality of our programs and the extent to which we can reach.
  • Highlight the contributions of our corporate sponsors and celebrate the important role of corporate philanthropy in our community.
  • Provide current donors/supporters with an update on the program expansions we've created this past year. For example, in Pied Piper, we have added pre-show activities, a family activity guide in our playbill, website access to study guides for family and post show discussions, and actor visits following most shows. This elevated commitment to the family's overall experience and improved marketing strategies have resulted in terrific growth of the public shows.
