Oliver Joel

OLIVER JOEL* (Inspector Doppler) is making his Village Theatre debut after moving to the Pacific Northwest from Chicago in 2004, where he spent 10 years at Steppenwolf. Favorite roles include Sam in Pinter’s Last Stand, the undertaker in Mark Twain’s only drama The Bully’s Morbid Haircut, and Joe in the John Osborne trilogy, Farewell to the Octopus. He sends love and thanks to Martin, Robb, Steve, Pat, Dean, and Dave for their continual urging to bring him out of retirement.



David Pichette

DAVID PICHETTE* (Andrew Wyke). David just appeared as Polonius in Seattle Shakespeare's Hamlet, the most successful production in their history. In the previous year he played Dr. Treves in Elephant Man (Strawshop), Arnold in A Thousand Clowns (Intiman), Captain Hook in Peter Pan (Seattle Children's Theatre), and Voltaire/Pangloss in Candide (5th Avenue Theatre). He is delighted to be working with Oliver Joel, who was his mentor at the University of Chicago.


MJ Sieber

MJ SIEBER* (Milo Tindle) is returning to Village Theatre after playing Paul Bratter in 2007's Barefoot in the Park directed by Jeff Steitzer. Most recently he appeared in The Lieutenant of Inishmore (ACT), Glengarry Glen Ross (Seattle Rep) and Lyle the Crocodile (Seattle Children's Theatre). Other shows include The Elephant Man and Gutenberg, The Musical (Strawberry Theatre Workshop), Native Son (Intiman), and Twelfth Night (Seattle Rep). He is an artistic associate & founding member of New Century Theatre Company and appeared in 2008's The Adding Machine (Gregory Award for Production and Theatre). Next he will appear in NCTC's O, Lovely Glowworm. Hello again Annie.



Morrison-Dayner

MORRISON DAYNER (Constable Higgs, Detective Sergeant Tarrant u/s, Inspector Doppler u/s) is a graduate of Bellevue Community College where he played Ed in Finiculi-Finicula, the life story of Metropolitan Opera legend Jan Peerce. He has written a play in rhyme, called Rhyme Play, about the love affair of poetess Elizabeth Shelly and her Portuguese gardener, which is scheduled for production this coming summer at the Edinburgh Festival. He thanks God, Robb, and his acting teacher Sasha Weakly for his first non-community theatre acting job.



Randy Richard Guss

RANDY RICHARD GUSS* (Detective Sergeant Tarrantt) played Von Gerkin in Pickled Fuhrer at the Yelm Fringe Festival this October. Randy is also an accomplished sitarist, having apprenticed for seven years in Tibet with Ravi Shankar. Thanks to Meg, Dianne, Bill, and mostly to his partner Jessica Morgan and their new baby, Shannon. Carpe Diem.
