  • Pied Piper proudly presents a great line-up of entertaining and educational shows for the 2008-2009 school year.


Tickets and Pricing

  • Tickets for shows in the 2008-2009 season are $8.50, except for the Village Theatre production of Stunt Girl, which is $15.00. Every teacher, chaperone and student must have a seat. After making your reservation, additional seats may be purchased on a space-available basis.


Basic Information

  • Seating for Pied Piper shows is based on reservation date, so be sure to reserve early for the best seats!
  • All shows are approximately 1 hour in length. Note: Stunt Girl is a special performance of a Village Theatre Mainstage production, which run approximately 2.5 hours with a 15 minute intermission.


Reservation Process

  • Call today to reserve your seats at (425) 257-6343 or reserve your seats . Space is limited for our productions. Please have an alternate performance date/time selected, in case your first choice is sold out.
  • No Obligation Reservation! For the 2008-2009 season, make your reservation any time before August 17, 2008 and we will hold your seats without obligation on your part. Cancel or change your reservation up to September 1, 2008 (subject to availability) without penalty.
  • We will send your official contracts in the fall. Upon receiving your contract, you have two weeks to sign and return the contract along with a school P.O. number or 10% deposit to guarantee your seats. Groups of less than 20 must make full payment upon reservation.
  • Contracts not returned within 15 business days will be cancelled.
  • Once your contract is signed, you are obligated to pay for the number of seats you have contracted, even if you have fewer attend than planned. Please read your contract carefully before signing.


Educational Performance Scholarships

Pied Piper is proud to provide scholarships to children who, because of financial hardship, would otherwise be unable to attend our performances. The 2008-2009 Educational Scholarship Fund application is available for download (200k PDF), or you may call to request an application or more information. Financial scholarships are allocated based on your schools overall free/reduced lunch percentage. Priority deadline for 2008–2009 scholarships is October 10, 2008.

Special Needs

Wheelchair seating and assisted listening devices are available for use during the performance; please reserve these services when making your reservation.

Study Guides and Preparation

  • Links to web resources and downloadable Study Guides can be found on our 2008-2009 Study Guide page. Pied Piper makes it a priority to offer performances with components that meet Washington State Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALRs). You can be assured that each visit to a Pied Piper production is a valuable learning experience.
  • Pied Piper strives to teach valuable life skills through the theatre experience. Please review theatre etiquette and expected behavior with your students and chaperones before the performance.

In-School Workshops:

In-school workshops are interactive 45-minute sessions stimulate appreciation for live theatre and are uniquely tailored to prepare students for the performance.

  • Receive two free in-school workshops for the show of your choice with your minimum reservation of 120 seats for any one performance.
  • Reserve early! Free workshops are limited to the first five qualifying schools per show. Please contact us for more details.

Imagine Children's Museum:

Double Your Fun!
The Imagine Children's Museum offers: incredible hands-on exhibits, an art studio and a construction studio, a fun-packed learning environment, outstanding field trips and enrichment classes — the perfect complement to a Pied Piper performance.

If your school is planning a field trip, why not experience a Village Theatre Pied Piper production and a visit to the Imagine Children's Museum, all in the same day!

Museum field trips are available to school groups in conjunction with any of our Pied Piper performances, but through a special partnership, the Imagine Children's Museum offers exclusive visits on the following Mondays:
November 17, 2008;
February 23, 2009;
March 9, 2009;
and May 18, 2009.

A separate reservation is required through the Imagine Children's Museum and must be booked at least 30 days in advance. For Museum hours, rates and information on booking an Imagine Children's Museum "Double your Fun Fieldtrip" call (425) 258-1006 x1012.
