Cynthia Rylant's award-winning book series about a lonesome boy and his 180-pound canine sets the stage for a brand new musical. Henry discovers that having a pet is a big responsibility; pets need to be fed and taken out for walks, and, of course, they need lots of love and play time. When Henry's best friend Annie pays a visit, even non-dog owners will recognize the jealousy in this story as the two friends compete for Mudge's love and attention.

A heartwarming new musical based on the book by one of America's favorite television personalities, Katie Couric's The Brand New Kid begins on the very first day of second grade, and Lazlo is the new kid in school. He's your typical seven-year-old boy, but because he doesn't look or speak quite like the others, he is teased and taunted. When Ellie McSnelly spends an afternoon with him playing soccer and eating strudel, the two teach their classmates a valuable lesson. This uplifting new musical proves that being yourself is always the best way to be.
