Selected candidates for the Technical Program will train with theatre professionals in building and painting sets; pulling and constructing costumes; hanging and focusing lights; and assembling props during the rehearsal process. Tech program students will also work backstage or in the booth during the run of the show. There is no tuition for this program, but students are expected to commit to the entire rehearsal and performance schedule. To interview for a position, please contact (425) 392-1942 x147.

Please bring your instrument(s) and a piece that showcases your musicianship. You may be asked to sight-read from the score for The Secret Garden.

KIDSTAGE Summer Independent is the pinnacle of the KIDSTAGE program. The Summer Independent is produced, designed and directed entirely by young artists under 20. Professional mentorship is provided by Village Theatre artists and staff.
Note: It is possible to be cast and participate in both SummerStock and Summer Independent Production

Actors need to prepare a one-minute monologue and 32 bars from a song.
Bring piano sheet music in a three-ring binder plus two copies of a photo and resume.
