"Yes, sir, it’s a different kind of show. But get ready to keep the beat and clap along. ... Likely, you will be standing during the finale. It’s that good.” Everett Herald

    Seattle Times

"The good mood persists across Village’s Pump Boys, which plays out on Andrea Bryn Bush’s gleaming, gauche set. With its shiny chrome detailing, immaculate brick walls and neon signs, it’s like an auto-shop-themed Guy Fieri restaurant — the perfect setting for a proudly unhip but plenty diverting show." Seattle Times

    AXS

“A seamless couple hours of delightful entertainment designed to provide audience members with a break from the cares of today’s life. … If you’re looking for a full-blown musical experience in a country vein that will leave you walking out of the theater humming a happy tune, Pump Boys and Dinettes is well worth the short journey to Issaquah." AXS

    Issaquah Press

"Imagine if Garth Brooks gathered some of those friends from low places and starred in a variety show for the stage. That’s the closest description of the experience you’ll get watching Village Theatre’s latest musical extravaganza, Pump Boys and Dinettes" Issaquah Press

    Broadway World

“Broadway caliber cast…one of my biggest and best theatrical surprises all year…my highest rating with a big ole WOW. If you allow yourself to miss this delightfully fun and fresh take on an already fun show ... well then I just don't know what to do with you." Broadway World

    Arts Stage – Seattle Rage

“Just sit back, relax, and get ready for a trip to the hinterlands, along one of those old highways that go through small towns in the United States. In Pump Boys and Dinettes you’ve stopped along Route 57 where the auto garage boys and the diner girls from across the road are ready to knock your socks off with their brand of country, rock, and bluegrass … This is theatre as rollicking good fun with great music performed by a fine cast." Arts Stage – Seattle Rage

    Drama in the Hood

Foot stompin’ and clappin’ and just about anything but sing-along happened throughout the show … This ain’t your daddy’s Broadway musical, nor is it Opryland transported to the Pacific Northwest. It IS two hours of energetic, blood-pumping good times." Drama in the Hood
