This two-day-a-week program offers an enriching, creative learning environment for your preschool-aged child to embark on a journey of imagination and discovery. Arts Adventures uses an arts-based teaching structure and child-centered learning environment, where the emphasis is on the process, allowing children to think and solve problems creatively. The arts of dance, music, visual art, drama, and literature are natural disciplines that help children grow through experience and find joyful, positive, and varied ways to express themselves with confidence.

Students explore movement, voice, and storytelling as well as arts and crafts in this popular class where you can join Puss in Boots on his exciting adventures. Find out the clever ways to defeat ogres and beasts.

My name is Junie B. Jones. The "B" stands for Beatrice. Except, I don't like Beatrice. I just like "B" and that's all. You too can be Junie B. or one of her friends in this exploratory acting class. You’ll use your imagination to bring some of her most memorable stories to life as she journeys into the first grade!

Join the movie musical craze! Foster the skills for a “triple threat” performer: singing, acting, and dancing. Students advance their musical theatre skills as they work on favorite numbers from the movie turned musical, Footloose, that is now remounted on the silver screen.

This is an intermediate course for the teen student to polish scene study techniques. Class will include in-depth character development, text analysis and scene-study using contemporary plays, scenes for film, and must-know theatre literature.

Musical Theatre 3 – The Art of Auditioning

Celebrating each student's unique ability to create a memorable audition, participants will be introduced to techniques that will strengthen their auditioning skills: material selection, monologues, 32 bars of a song, reading sides, and learning choreography. Perfect preparation for the Village Theatre Institute or summer show auditions occurring in late Spring, but also perfect for students who just want to continue fine-tuning their singing, dancing, and acting skills.

Singing for Musical Theatre

A complete song-learning class, designed to help performers learn more about singing and story-telling through music. Areas covered include vocal technique, music theory, breath control, rhythm, melody, sight-reading, and acting through song. Students expand their vocal range, fine-tune their ears, strengthen breathing, and learn new music, all in a small class of eight students maximum. (This class does not take the place of individual voice lessons, which should be taken privately, year-round, for serious singers.)

Come explore the world of stage combat! In this class you will learn the basics of armed stage combat, focusing on rapier and dagger work. You’ll learn to fight like a Musketeer. This class will also incorporate some scene work.
