Favorite Fairytales (Grades PreK-K)
June 20 - June 23, 2012, 9:30 AM-12:00 PM *4 day camp
Tuition: $130

Join us on a whimsical journey where you can become part of your favorite fairytales in this camp with timeless appeal. Students explore movement, voice, and storytelling as well as arts and crafts in this class celebrating variations on favorite fairytales.

Winnie the Pooh and Friends Too! (PreK-K)
June 25 – June 29, 2012, 9:30 AM-12:00 PM
Tuition: $150

Come join A.A. Milne’s Christopher Robin and his famous friends. Play the part of Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, and others. Learn about storytelling through art, games, costumes, and possibly some sticky honey.

Fun with Seuss (Grades PreK-K)

Oh, the places you’ll go! Come explore the world of Dr. Seussusing your imagination, and hitch a ride with The Lorax, taste some Green Eggs and Ham, and listen as Horton Hears a Who!

Pirates and Princesses (Grades PreK-K)

Shiver me timbers! Experience the adventurous worlds of sea and land through thrilling stories, craft projects, and costumes in this camp featuring princesses, sea creatures, and pirates.

Fabulous Fairies and Dynamic Dragons (Grades PreK-K)
August 13- August 16, 2012, 9:30 AM-12:00 PM *4 day camp
Tuition: $150

Using mystical adventures and a pinch of fairy dust, students imaginatively explore their favorite fairy and dragon characters and create unforgettable original tales with a special blend of dragon fire and fairy wings.

Grades K-2

Marvelous Monsters and Mermaids (Grades K-2)
July 2- July 6 (no camp 7/4), 2012, 12:30 – 3:30pm
Tuition: $130

Tales (or tails) of extraordinary monsters and graceful mermaids are the inspiration for this deep-sea adventure camp. Little mariners bring to life colorful characters from Where the Wild Things Are, The Little Mermaid, and other storybooks, through creative stories, crafts, and costumes.

Princesses, Wizards, and Knights (Grades K-2)
July 9- July 13, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Tuition: $150

Visit an enchanted castle inhabited by royalty, magic, and animal friends, while exploring movement, voice, and storytelling as well as arts and crafts. Enjoy becoming noble knights, crafty wizards, or plucky princesses.

Grades 1-3

Magic Tree House (Grades 1-3)
July 16 – July 20, 2012, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Tuition: $150

Join Jack and Annie ,from Mary Pope Osborne’s much-loved series, on their journeys through history. This camp uses historical figures and settings as a springboard for learning how to portray specific character traits.

Star Wars: Heroes vs. Villains (Grades 1-2)
July 23- July 27, 2012, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away…come visit the Star Wars universe and pick your side: Sith Master or Jedi Knight? Explore the many imaginative characters and distant worlds. No light sabers required.

Alice in Wonderland (Grades 1-3)
August 6- August 10, 2012, 12:30-3:30 PM

Don’t be late! Join the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, or the Queen of Hearts, and follow Alice down the rabbit hole. Learn beginning characterization in addition to other basic theatre concepts while exploring the dynamic world of Lewis Carroll’s “wonderland.”

That’s My Line- Improv Games (Grades 4-6)

Come learn the true meaning of the “yes and…” in this fun and energetic camp! You’ll play lots of short and long form improv games, learn the importance of the who, what, and where in building a scene, and further your ability to “stay in the moment.”

Hogwarts (Grades 3-5)

Enter the magical world of Hogwarts (no port-key required.) J.K. Rowling’s classic book series is the inspiration for this mystical and unforgettable adventure. Develop memorable characters while exploring concepts such as voice, movement, character objective, and stage presence.

Stage Combat, Shakespeare Style (Grades 6-12)
July 2- July 6, 2012 (no camp 7/4), 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM

Come have a swashbuckling time learning stage combat skills that will be added to Shakespeare scenes. You will gain an understanding of the old world language of Shakespeare through movement, scene work and classical techniques. “Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more.”

Teen Improv (Grades 6-12)
August 13- August 16, 2012, 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM *4 day camp

Acting for the Camera (Grades 6-12)

In this camp you'll step into the world of Hollywood! You will learn the subtle differences between acting for the stage and acting for the camera. This camp will teach you what it means to act within a certain frame, prepare for various film, TV, commercial auditions/callbacks, and a little bit about the business of film/TV acting. Camp will be filmed, so students have the opportunity of learning through watching themselves and their peers perform on screen. Are you ready for your close-up?

Musical Theatre: Annie (Grades 1-3)

The orphans have a “Hard Knock Life,” but Annie always looks forward to “Tomorrow” and a better life. Enjoy other favorites such as “Maybe” and “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile.”

Musical Theatre: Beauty and the Beast (Grades 1-2)
July 30- August 8, 2012, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Tuition: $150

“Be our Guest!”This class will explore songs and scenes from the hit Broadway musical. Join Belle, the Beast, and the other classic Disney characters as you learn vocal, dance, and acting techniques using a healthy dose of kitchen utensils.

Musical Theatre: Tangled + The Princess and the Frog (Grades 1-3)
August 6- August 10, 2012, 9:00AM-12:00PM
Tuition: $150

Let down your hair! You’ll be singing and dancing as you explore a new jazzy world beyond Rapunzel’s tower. Get ‘Tangled” up in New Orleans blues, webbed feet, and golden locks.

Musical Theatre: The Lion King (Grades 1-2)
August 13- August 16, 2012, 12:30-3:30 PM * 4 day camp
Tuition: $130

“Hakuna Matata!” No worries in this camp! Join the herd from The Lion King on a journey so incredible it will make you sing, “The Circle of Life.” Just make sure to “Be Prepared” for anything.

Grades 3-5

Musical Theatre: Shrek (Grades 3-5)
July 2- July 6, 2012 (no camp 7/4), 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Tuition: $130

Students work in a collaborative style to develop musical theatre skills through songs and scenes from the Broadway show: Shrek the Musical. Come join Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and their fairytale friends as you sing and dance your way through the swamp.

Musical Theatre: Camp Rock and High School Musical (Grades 3-5)
July 9- July 13, 2012, 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM
Tuition: $150

These smash Disney hits inject energy and pop music into the KIDSTAGE classroom. Collaborate on a revue of the songs and moves you love. This camp will take rock to the next level.

Musical Theatre: Cinderella (Grades 3-5)
July 23- July 27, 2012 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM
Tuition: $150

Does the slipper fit? Jump into one of the great, classic fairytales and sing and dance to such tunes as “In My Own Little Corner,” and the “Stepsisters Lament.”

Putting on a Show: The Jungle Book kids (Grades 3-5)
August 13- August 17, 2012, 9:30 AM-3:30 PM
Tuition: $300

Kick up your heels! It’s show time! Dance, sing, act, and tell a memorable story! Students will put their skills to work and present a mini-musical for family and friends on the last day of camp. Class time includes learning music, staging, choreography, rehearsal terminology, and rehearsing with a script. “It’s The Bare Necessities!”

Musical Theatre: Wicked, Mama Mia, and other Musical Favorites! (Grades 4-6)
June 25- June 29, 2012, 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM
Tuition: $150

Join the smash hit musical craze! Students will hand-pick their favorite numbers from recent Broadway musicals. The result will be a musical revue of songs from musicals such as Mamma Mia!, Wicked, Hairspray, and Legally Blonde.

Musical Theatre: Seussical (Grades 4-8) ALL DAY CAMP in partnership with The Dance School.
July 16- July 20, 2012, 9:30 AM- 3:30 PM

“How Lucky You Are” to work on performance technique and skills by using songs such as “Oh the Thinks You Can Think” and “It’s Possible.” Don’t forget your “Green Eggs and Ham.”

Musical Theatre: GLEE! (Grades 4-8) ALL DAY CAMP in partnership with The Dance School.
August 6- August 10, 2012, 9:30 AM- 3:30 PM

Inspired by the hit TV show, Glee, we put a KIDSTAGE twist on the show choir experience. Mash-ups and solos, pop and Broadway, “Glee” will tackle it all. Focus on original show-choir style choreography and true ensemble performance.

Grades 5-12

Musical Theatre: Broadway Now Playing Boot Camp (Grades 5-12)
W-S) June 20-June 23, 2012, 4:00PM-7:00PM * 4 day camp
Tuition: $130

This boot camp will help you prep for Summerstock, Summer Independent, or any other performance opportunities you have to look forward to. Brush up on your singing, dancing, and acting in this four-night master class.

Musical Theatre: RENT and other Rock Musicals (Grades 7-12) ALL DAY CAMP in partnership with The Dance School.
July 9- July 13, 2011, 9:30 AM-3:30 PM
Tuition: $260

The students will work in a collaborative style on fine-tuning a musical revue of songs such as “Seasons of Love,” “Will I?”, and “Living in America” from the Tony Award winning musical, Rent. Sing, dance, and rock out!

Musical Theatre: Les Miserables + other British Blockbusters (Grades 9-12)
July 16 - July 20, 2012, 12:30-3:30 PM
Tuition $150

London’s West End has exported some of Broadway’s biggest hits such as Les Miserables, Cats, The Phantom of the Opera and many more. No passport required for this singing and dancing extravaganza, but these hits are worth the trip.

Create Your Own Village Original (Grades 8-12)
July 23 – July 27, 2011, 9:00AM-12:00PM
Tuition: $150

Develop scenes and songs for your own musical, like we do in our KIDSTAGE Originals program. Use improvisational games and story-boarding techniques to create original musical concepts. A revue of original songs and scenes will be shared on the last day of camp.

Musical Theatre: Little Shop of Horrors (Grades 6-10)
July 30- August 3, 2012, 12:30-3:30 PM
Tuition: $150

“Feed me Seymour!” Come join Audrey, Seymour and Audrey 2 as they find “Somewhere that’s Green.” Students will expand their musical theatre experience learning doo-wop and Motown styles of singing and movement.
