THE PROJECT: The building is a theater, event and youth education center featuring flexible theatre space, classrooms and office space.
Village Theatre has renovated the building at California and Wetmore directly south of the Everett Performing Arts Center (EPAC) into the Second Stage and Youth Education Center and home of Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE and Pied Piper program. With the opening of Second Stage, KIDSTAGE will be able to serve an additional 450 students per year, free up space at the Everett Performing Arts Center for the City of Everett’s ever-expanding community and cultural needs and host, in partnership with the City, a variety of entertainment and events to activate the Everett Performing and Visual Arts Plaza. Together, the new Second Stage and Youth Education Center, the Everett Performing Arts Center and future Performing and Visual Arts Plaza will become a cultural town square and an integral part of the City of Everett’s revitalization efforts.
